Everything was clean, new, hot water didn’t smell like sulfur, like every other part in Iceland. The curtains were the best! I felt really comfortable. I actually felt like if I was in my house. The staff was amazing!

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Incredible service from the staff here. I was in an awkward situation and they spent the time to reaccomodate me in difficult circumstances. It’s always tidy. It’s cosy. It has cool events on. I felt very safe and even at home on this stay. Best hostel in Reykjavík, definitely recommend booking while it’s available.
Great Location, very popular hostel with travellers from all over the world. Great party hostel vibe, if that’s your thing. Breakfast provided at a cost was excellent. Smooth check in . I would advise if going with friends to book together, otherwise you will not be guaranteed to be sharing a dormitory like in our case. Beds ok does the job.
Friendly staff when you actively approach them yourself, room mates and great location. It was clear that they attempt to keep things clean (but given the small amount of bathrooms and large amount of guests, it can get dirty). It’s an Alright budget friendlier option (in terms of Icelandic pricing) for a few nights if you are ok with a very basic hostel experience and out and about most of the time anyway as I was. Rooms were mostly clean
Great location ! A 5 minute walk from the main part of the city, friendly staff, our bed was super comfortable and the room itself was lovely and warm! Key code entry system was great too, felt safe and didn’t have to worry about leaving a key somewhere, perfect to stay at if you’re trying to see Iceland on a budget
It's a classic backpacker hostel, very well situated, near a supermarket, to the sea and few minutes from center town. I slept in mixed dormitory. All kind of servics are available; it's possible to cook there.
Great location, easy walk from bus station. Clean. Very safe measures with a code to enter each room. Arrived at 2am, easily got in with codes and found bed and towel. Next door to geothermal swimming pool, $8.50, but free for those 67 and older. Good price for hostel in Iceland! Very pleased with my stay.
- Very clean, especially considering this is a hostel
- Great location, only a few minutes walking to downtown area
- Rooms were quite spacious
- Nice food and drink selection available at the front desk and very cheap for Icelandic standards
- Plenty free parking spaces available
- Towels and bed sheets are provided for free
