Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
So, this review is made in the context that this is being a hostel not a 3 star hotel. We really liked it. The staff were friendly and helpful and found somewhere to store our tandem bicycle the kitchen was well equipped, there was a bar with an honesty box, the communal space was large and warm and furnished in a mid-century retro style, the shared bathroom was clean. This is excellent hostel accommodation
The staff was very polite and helpful, the location is amazing if you are traveling Snæfellsnes. The breakfast was very good and this hotel is a safe bet.
The location is located in a really cute town and right next to the shore. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The bathrooms were very clean, especially compared to other guesthouses or hostels I’ve been to. We were able to cook our meals there and store food with no issue.
This was the best hostel ever. Everyone is welcoming.
Locals did have a concert there and it was great.
Worm community and great service.
Definitely coming back here again.
it was a great cultural experience and very cheap, as of course it is a hostel. I loved the vibe and I felt very welcome. Also appreciated the free earplugs.
you get the proper hostel feeling - with people mixing in the kitchen and the shared spaces.
great location and so much to explore within the hostel spaces
It was one of the best hostels ever. Super nice people, clean, great look and very calm even though I was in 8-people dorm. Would always go there again!
