I booked a last-minute stay at The Secret Ashram after reading great reviews, and I’m so glad I did—it was absolutely worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the chef (sorry, I forgot his name) prepares delicious meals. The Chechi ensures everything is spotless. A special shout-out to Deepak, SK (Shivprasad), and Ankita—each of them is full of energy and creativity, making the experience even more memorable.
Originally, I had planned to stay for just one night, but with the cozy and beautiful atmosphere, I decided to extend my stay for another day, and I’m really glad I did. On the evenings of the 24th and 25th, they organized campfires and games as part of the Christmas Eve celebrations, which added a wonderful touch to the stay.

I stayed at the private room, and it was quite pleasant. The sunset views from the balcony were stunning, the room was spacious for one person, and the bed was comfortable.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Perfect hostel for nature lovers. Not a commercial hostel like Zostel or Hosteller, this had its own vibes and interesting crowd with foreigners and lots of solo travellers.
"Staying at The Last Secret Hostel was amazing! It felt like finding a hidden gem in Coorg. Waking up to birds chirping and fresh coffee in a lush garden was incredible. The mix of peace and adventure was perfect. If you want a secret paradise surrounded by nature, this is the place to be!"
Great location, clean well designed rooms/cottages, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Dinner food has to be pre-ordered and that quality/taste was not as good as expected.
This hostel is perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms are really clean, and the staff is super friendly. I had a great time and would definitely go back. Highly recommended!
The outdoor chilling spaces and the inspired sitting areas create a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for forging connections with fellow adventurers. The hostel attracts a vibrant foreign crowd, adding a global flavor to the experience.
OMG, one of the best Hostels i have ever been to. Preetam and others are so warm in welcoming guests. The vibe is so good, you meet lots of like minded people.
The best thing about this place is nice food, ambience and comfort. Preetham and team needs appreciation for sure.
Property is located at a very good place.
Best hostel for solo travelers to stay in Coorg.
