I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tashila Hostel, and it was truly an excellent experience! This hostel is a gem for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and great service.
The services provided were exceptional. The maid service was efficient and ensured that everything was well-maintained daily. One of the highlights of my stay was the common kitchen, equipped with a gas stove, oven, and a spacious fridge. It was wonderful to cook my own meals and have access to everything I needed.
The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in and stay smooth. The WiFi connection was strong and reliable, which was perfect for both work and leisure. The restrooms were spotless and well-kept, and the rooms were spacious, providing a comfortable stay.
Another great feature was the free locker service, which ensured my belongings were secure without any extra charges. They even provided free towels and offered laundry services, which added to the convenience.
The hostel also had an open, common big hall where guests could relax and socialize. It included working tables, dining tables, and ample space to unwind. The balcony offered stunning views of the city, allowing me to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset in a serene environment.
Overall, my experience at Tashila Hostel was fantastic, and I couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-equipped hostel. Definitely deserving of a 5-star rating!

Saran & Zami are very much interactive and helpful in every aspect. special mention to Prabhath da for lip smacking food preparations. This place has homely feel. The hostel is located almost at the centre of M G Mard. It's a no-frills, budget friendly hostel. Two bunk beds in one room, accommodating 4 people with 1 shared toilet.
Good food, clean , ambience is good, free high speed WiFi, reasonably priced bar, all basic amenities provided. the best hostel in and around Gangtok....high speed internet, very comfy beds, the owner is very helpful and the caretaker takes lots of effort in his services...value for money...far exceeded my expectations...
