Functional male only dorm conveniently located for the Ernakulam bus station and the ferry over to Fort Kochi, served my purposes well because I had an early bus to catch so didn't want to stay in Kochi itself as the ferry didn't run that early

Niaz who runs/owns the hostel has a lovely energy - passionate about Kochi and Kerala. Has great suggestions and has created a lovely place to stay and meet other travellers. If you're considering a hostel in Fort Kochi - pick the Chill House - it lives up to the name.
Single room had large comfy bed and quiet air con.
The location was walking distance from everything there is top see in Fort Kochi + Jew Town, and ferries to Ernakulam were also within walking distance. Usually at least one rickshaw nearby for when you don't want to walk.

Great location in the heart of Fort Kochi, only a few minutes walk away from the beach. The room was extremely clean and the beds very comfortable. The private attached bathroom was very convenient and also spotless. The balcony is quite nice. We were able to visit Kochi very conveniently and loved to come back to this peaceful room. Thanks again to our host for her welcome and highly recommend the place to other travelers
Tucked away about a KM from a laundromat, ATMs, cafe's and restaurants and with easy availability of transport, this is a budget AC services room apartment hotel. Has ample car parking in an adjoining plot. Dining table and chairs are available as also some crockery and cutlery. A clothes line is on the terrace An ironing shop is available a short distance away in a vacant site.
A clean, comfortable and cosy hostel that is great for backpackers or short termers. Location is also good as you can walk to the metro station and the jetty.
