Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Hosts are friendly and I felt safe there staying solo. Shared dorm was good given the price. Plenty of parking and at a good location for going between Galway city and deeper into Connemara.

We loved the location, 5 minute walk to a stunning beach with a great safe swim spot. The house has everything you will need including a turf fire for chilly evenings. Beautiful ocean views and a resident Donkey in the neighbouring field. This was our 2nd time to stay here, love it !

It was an ideal location and perfect for the budget get-away that we had planned. Martin warmly greeted us when we arrived and we were made feel as though we had been coming there for years. He was very helpful and knew a lot about the local area. The beach near by was perfect for a sunset swim and romantic walk to relax after travelling for so long. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through that part of the country and will definitely be returning for a future weekend break as a couple or with a group of friends
