Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, friendly welcoming staff. Rooms were lovely plus a very comfortable big bed, a shower and a separate bath! Breakfast was good , as was the food served in the restaurant and bar. Nice outdoor area to sit and have a meal / drink or just a chat. Looking forward to a return visit.
Geraldine and Michael were wonderful hosts. A very warm welcome from Michael. Geraldine’s communication pre-arrival was extremely helpful. The whole property was immaculately clean. Breakfast was great and plentiful. In room T.V, WiFi, Tea and coffee and toiletries, were enjoyed. Great location just outside Cong village, near Ashford Castle and the stunning Connemara National Park. The property is a short walk down to the waters edge of Loch Corrib.
So clean and comfortable, with very tasty food. Great location in the village. Safe parking at the b&b.
