Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We loved it here! The facility is gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff are very helpful. The hot water pressure was great. Being close to Benbulben Mountain was amazing, the air so clean. This was my first stay at a 'hostel' and it exceeded every expectation. This would be a great place to hold a retreat. We loved everything about it!!!
Everything:)
Just wish knew not to bring as much with us as place was so well equipped.
Kitchen has all you could need and the cleaning products.
Beds were more comfortable that typically hotel ( mattress was on single bed not bunks- bunks mattress still good)
Very safe relaxed atmosphere no compromise by staying here . Tea, coffee & sugar and cooking oil provided.
Very relaxing stay. Sitting room was nice and spent some time there reading and watching tv . Place was kept in great order and all very clean and organised.
The hostel-esque environment, shared kitchen and living room, nice garden outside.
Kitchen was big.
The bed was nice and comfortable.
Shower and bathroom facilities was good.
Lovely tranquil location. Very well organised hostel - exceptionally clean and well organised with each room having their own cupboard in the kitchen containing their utensils as well as an individual basket in the fridge.
The facilities are great for a hostel. It is so clean and comfortable, with private facilities as well as very comfortable common spaces.
The grounds are also very pleasant, with plenty of outdoor seating.
Hostel is in a great location (we arrived by car) especially if you are hiking around the area. Kitchen extremly good oraganized with fridges, cupboards ... Very clean.
Beautiful remote quiet location and clean modern facilities. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at and fabulous value for money. Only downside was that noise could be heard so easily from adjoining rooms 🤭 plus the bunk bed mattresses, whilst fine for kids, had hard springs for a teenager but the staff kindly provided a mattress from a fold out bed as a topper. Whilst overall the staff weren’t very friendly, they were extremely helpful and accommodating.
