My stay in Indigo exceeded all my expectations. Little hostel in one of the best locations of the island (so near to the harbour, between the village and beautiful beaches reachable by walk). Indigo is full of beautiful humans and artists (you will be surprised by amazing singers everyday) and it becomes the soul of Karimunjawa after sunset where many locals also come to hang out. I have been in Indigo during Christmas and they make us feel like home sharing so many dinners and interesting hilarious talks conversations. It was even hard some days to leave Indigo to explore the island! They also make your life easier because you can arrange activities (snorkeling trip, renting snorkeling mask, etc) with them and transport from jepara as well! So recommendable! Tarima kasiih!

The host Ferry was amazing. Great location and easy booking for trips. Breakfast was delicious and so many places to eat nearby. There is also an outdoor chill out area that meant you could relax on bean bags.

We liked the location because it’s very central and close to shops and restaurants. We didn’t mind the music playing from the bar across the street until 22:30 but if you do, we recommend earplugs (also for the prayers). Very friendly staff.

I had the most incredible time here in the Indigo hostel! It is super social, the staff is amazing and helps you with literally everything! They organize snorkelt and boot trips, they help with ferry bookings and welcome you as if you are part of a big family!
The rooms were clean and in a great location from the harbor! The host is a stand up guy, we had a great time and he is helping you with whatever he can! From booking trips to helping us figure out which boat to get and getting us a scooter! Really enjoyed our stay with them and would definitely go back there when visiting Karimunjawa!
It was great. A perfect backpacker accommodation with modern jungle vibes. And the owner is so kind and sympathetic. I would recommend it to everyone I like 🥰 the breakfast was fresh and great, too. (pancakes, waffles,… )

This hostel is one of the best hostels I have ever been. It‘s so cozy with all the different possibilities for seating places, plants, free coffee/tea/ water. There‘s also an amazing breakfast (selfmade bread with bruschetta and omlette 10/10) and the hostel stuff (thanks again to john, anned and eka) is the best! They do everything to make your stay comfortable and that the hostel becomes a second home. Extended my stay to 5 nights and still sad that I had to leave then. Will definitely come back!

Big room super clean good prices and great location amazing service during the stay and during checkout. I recommend this hostel to everyone and especially backpackers who wants to discover such a beautiful island like Karimunjawa.
