I loved staying here. I explored the local streets. Its a bit rugged but I like that about the place. Its not in a touristy area so you can see some interesting parts of the city by walking for awhile. I walked for an hour through the streets and met some amazing people. I ended up buying fire works for the kids and also launching some huge fireworks off. I had a blast!

Very clean, safe and great location. Located right beside Indonesian mall. Free breakfast and great service! We had to check out at 3 am and they accommodated this by having our free breakfast ready to go at that time!
Great location next to the red line and Gambir station. Lots of good places to eat in the nearby areas. Hostel is clean and has a lot of bathrooms. Ok common area upstairs which is being renovated, at least one balcony. Free water refills and coffee/tea was nice.
Booked this as it was one of the cheapest stays, great location - located in a small village style area right in the city center, walking distance to the main shopping centers and national monument, however the road it is on is tiny and has children playing in the street so that was nice. We booked a cheap room and definitely got a cheap room, but it had drinking water and suited us for our stay.
Great location to explore the old centre, just off the Kota train station. It seems a typical backpackers hostel with many young white foreign tourists, some things seems outworn a bit too much, but serves your needs for a sleepover. Allows you to fill your bottle with drinkable water.
Very cheap and nice hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic eateries close by, Gondanglia station and supermarked also less than 5 min walk away. Free tea and coffee.
I liked that I felt safe in this hostel. I accidentally forgot my keys to the lockers with my money outside of my capsule over night and only got it let in the afternoon and nothing was stolen from me. This is something new for Indonesia
