Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Very nice and welcoming Family.
Kake the father picks you a coconut so you can sit on the balcony and sipp along and refresh. How and cold water dispenser in the room with coffee and cups. Little shop belongs to the guesthouse. Also a good and cheap warung next door. Scooter rental possible. Drop off at the bus station or help to organise the return trip to Jakarta. Definitely recommend the place...
I like it. Very basic little hostel down a dodgy looking alley. Nice and secluded and very quiet. The beds were comfy and the price was right.
The staff were friendly and answered all my questions about the area.
Green Canyon body rafting tour can be booked for rp250k which seems to be the cheapest on offer that I found.
100m or a 2 minute stroll to the surf beach and a 15 minutes walk to some nice warungs.
Free tea and coffee, and some toast in the morning.
Definitely worth staying if you just want to chill
Staff was very friendly and courteous. 24/7 security guard. Right across from the main peak, can see the surf from the hotel. Great location. Cheap delicious food around.
Anik homestay is an amazing place. The dormitory is really comfortable. The garden is wonderful, full of tropical plant and flowers. We felt really good in this place. Anik is soo kind and always available to help us. I really recommend this place 100% :)
A lot! Super nice hostel, view is amazing and literally few mins from the beach.
Hesa is the perfect host, honestly the best host I’ve had in my whole trip - always available to help!! Thanks Hesa for everything, won’t forget how kind you have been!!
Nice place to stay in Batu K, close to everything, Hesa is really helpfull, and also very nice.
There is also a kitchen you can use to make family dîner at night Time.
The place is clean, confort, and really safe with 2 security cats who stay at the hostel all day long to take care about the place.
At first Batu Karas is a nice town and perfect to learn surfing. You can book cheap surflessons and scooter at the accomodation and its an simple but lovely hostel, you have beautiful sunsets with the view on a ricefield and its a good place to relax. You can also use the kitchen to cook and we got offered toast, bananas, coffee and water for free.
