Stayed here twice. Once in 2022 and once in 2024. On both occasions, I was in the process of travelling from Bali to somewhere else on Java.
In 2022, they organised some brilliant good value excursions for me and some other travellers.
Great location extremely close to the ferry port (should you want to get the ferry to Bali) and the train station (should you want to travel to somewhere on Java by train).

If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Banyuwangi, I highly recommend this Home Stay. Located in a very nice and quiet area, surrounded by lovely neighbours, this place offers everything you could hope for for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The room was spotless: the bed is exceptionally comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly and the whole place is spotlessly clean. The outdoor lounge is also very pleasant, with small necessities available to make the stay even more pleasant.
My stay was made even more memorable by the incredible team who welcomed me. They are brilliant, passionate people, and full of great recommendations for discovering the region.
The discussions with them were enriching, and their openness and willingness to listen made my experience even more enjoyable. I was welcomed like a friend, and it was a real pleasure to meet them. Amazing value for money. We booked a room last minute as we were arriving at 2am and the owner was very caring and checked in with me during the night. Breakfast pancakes were delicious and filtered water provided. Thank you!

This hostel is nothing but lovely!! The facilities are super clean, new and beautiful. The staff is really caring and welcoming. The bed is comfortable, you have a curtain for privacy and enough room for your luggage. It is one of the best hostels I have been so far!!

The staff were amazing! Very welcoming and helpful. They helped us to organise tours, transport to Bali and recommended good places to eat. The hostel is in a beautiful house that is located in a nice neighbourhood that feels safe. They also provide free drinking water, which is great!
The overall property was amazing and they are very clean and organized. The staff ensures the guests are at their comfort and they provide assistance at every instance we request anything for. Need a stay in Benyuwangi? This Hostel is a must for every backpacker! Ana and her Husband are absolutely amazing! Never met such a beautiful soul. Her English is outstanding and they help you with EVERYTHING you need. There is a kitchen so you can prepare porridge or rice etc and the location is great with cheap and good restaurants and a supermarket close to it. Very clean and air-conditioning available.
You can also book the tours to Ijen and Mount Bromo as well as other places with them. However, I have some comments on the tours.
Everything, from the friendly staff, absolute cleanliness and comfort, and all the services and information (about Ijen, scooter rental, great restaurants, ferries to Bali, etc.) they provide is perfect. This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at in a long, long time and I can't recommend it enough.
Could not leave a nicer review, maybe one of the best hostels I've stayed at. The staff are so friendly and helpful and attentive, they really bend over backwards to do whatever you need and really go the extra mile.
Superb staff aside, it's a great location for restaurants, bus station, train station beach etc. Everything you need is reasonably close.
The hostel itself is so homely, with different places to relax and a lovely kitchen.
