Featuring a garden, Central Room Hostel is set in Balatonszárszó in the Somogy region, 36 km from Bella Stables and Animal Park and 11 km from Balaton Sound.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The highest standard of the apartment (very comfortable beds, air conditioning in every room, spacious terrace with great view on the inner lake, coffee machine, smart TV etc.), great location (5 minutes walk from the Tihany Abbey and the main street of the town, 20 minutes walk from the public beach), private parking on the property and extremely helpful and kind host speaking fluent English. Definitely will come back.
Really nice and helpful owners. Friendly atmosphere. Rooms clean and nice. Tables to sit outside in the garden. You can order beverages with very good prices. Air conditioners in the rooms. Private parking. Hotel is placed in great location, aside of the city. To get to the Tihany center 30 min by walk or 3 min by car. I really enjoyed the time spent in the hotel. Will back here!
Very clean premises, nice environment near the nature, great location, very quiet but still close enough to walk to the tourist center, beautiful gardens around, excellent stuff, dog friendly, good value for money, nice breakfast, and the very best is - they have mini LÁNGOS for breakfast 😍😍😍😍😍
Also possible to rent high quality electric bicycles, which is great.

This is a great location for what we needed for the Balaton Piknik Festival. Friendly team and a very good breakfast. And all of this with the view on Balaton lake!
