Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Good location, comfortable room, cooking facilities are also good. Hostel staff is helpful and communicative, they provided us with all necessary information for self-check in.

Staying here was amazing - the place is better than the photos. Super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, accommodating. There is a bar under the hostel that is open until 1 am. It's a nice opportunity to meet people from Esztergom and soak up the vibe. If you are sensitive to noise and plan to sleep earlier, bring earplugs. We had a great time and everyone was really warm, friendly and inviting. the best of our trip from Bratislava to Budapest.
Perfect location, close to the aquapark and restaurants in town, the whole apartment was clean and tidy, we enjoyed our short stay and wished we could stay longer. The beds were very comfortable, and we had a great night sleep. Plenty of towels, kitchen equipment, free WiFi and TV, safe stay behind the closed gates...
I highly recommend Rugby Hostel, I always stay here when in Esztergom : it has an excellent location by the Danube and close to the city center, you eat eat on the terrace while enjoying the view, and it is worth to pay for the breakfast because it is always fresh. The hostel is clean and the staff are helpful. While this is not a hostel for those used to four star hotels, it is the perfect choice for the low budget travellers.
Kaleidoszkóp Ház Hostel is a funky wee hostel in a great location. Decorated with murals and interesting furniture. It's close to all the sights and services.... nice also to have a kitchen to breakfast in and make a coffee to get my morning started!
It was another wet and windy day but there is a great outdoor space too... weather allowing!
Responsive host.
