As I understand, although I booked this place, it wasn't available upon arrival, so I was moved to a back up place. Which had a great location in the center of the old town.

I really enjoyed my stay. I had some problems with my phone and my bags were heavy so someone spoke with my parents, wandered around looking for me, and then carried my bag up SEVERAL flights of stairs all while being kind. I loved the owner as well. He is so smart and knows so much about history so everyone should take time to speak with him and learn from him. There’s also an amazing nail salon nearby and had a great manicure there so that was a plus. It’s right next to a grocery store too which is great.
The City Place Guest house is set in 2 stone houses in Dubrovnik Old Town. World famous Stradun street can be reached within 66 feet.

The staff and owner were very kind and friendly as well as helpful. I took a taxi to the gate and Ana, the owner met me and walked me to the hostel which I would've had finding. Pecky carried my suitcase up the 61 stairs to the top. Pecky, the hostel staff went above and beyond helping me out. My phone alarm clock wasn't working correctly and he would wake me up very early in the morning for my tours and for the taxi back to the airport at 5 am. He's very sociable and made dinner for a group of us one night. The location is excellent. A few steps to the main square.

the bed was very comfortable and the hostel was in a great location. they used a whatsapp chat so everyone could meet each other and it was a great way to make friends.
Great location for the ferry port. Washing Machine Facilities were fantastic. Like everyone have said it is more like a budget hotel rather than hostel.
I loved everything. I would have loved a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea. However it is the best hostel. It was very clean, safe and lovely decorated.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming which is so nice when you are staying alone.
Love Dubrovnik Hostel, is and was one of the best Hostels I have ever stayed in. The staff are so kind and helpful. They gave each guest new towels everyday which is such a good bonus. Very welcoming and great location. You can go back from Old town in less than 10 minutes walk.
Location is simply the best. It’s very close to Airport shuttle bus stop and walking distance to the old town and city wall. Hostel is very clean and cozy. Staffs and host are friendly and very helpful. I stayed in a dormitory room for 6 people and bed was comfy. They organize bbq party in the evening and it’s a great opportunity to meet new people. Breakfast is available with additional fee and I’d recommend to have it.
