I was alone in the room so I cannot say how it would have been with other peoole, the room is a bit small, but the beds are comfortable and the room has an ensuite with two showers

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel, largely thanks to the exceptional hospitality provided by the Hostel Manager, Matthew. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel incredibly welcome. His local tips around the area were spot-on, and he was always quick to help with any requests. Matthew's work ethic truly stood out—he went above and beyond to ensure that all guests had a wonderful stay, especially during the colder winter months, even arranging an extra blanket for me.
The common room was a great place to relax and unwind, and if you’re lucky, you might even get to enjoy the company of the hostel's playful and affectionate cats. The kitchen was another highlight for me—it's small but well-equipped, making it very convenient for preparing meals.
The room itself was clean, well-kept, and provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay.
The location is fantastic—super close to the bus stop, and Fira is centrally located, making it easy to access all of Santorini’s transport options.
Overall, I loved my stay and would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Santorini. Great atmosphere, great people, and an unbeatable location!

I stayed at Caveland with family (my two kids and my mother). The room was much more spacious than I could have anticipated. I was expecting a much more smaller room, with several beds fit within the available space (based on past experience). Instead, what we got a essentially a small apartment, with two separate bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a small living room, all spacious, well equipped (e.g. air condition, wireless, towels etc) and clean. The balcony outside the room was nice for relaxing and also observe the kids in distance, playing in the swimming pool. The kids enjoyed the large swimming pool, it was ideal for the warmest part of the day when we did not want to move around in the island under the Sun. Breakfast was basic but more than sufficient. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The dogs were also a nice company. The village has few nice places to eat, or you can also order to get food delivered at Caveland. Overall, I hope that the fact that Caveland is listed as hostel in some booking websites is discouraging from some families to even consider it as an option - I instead cannot recommend it more.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Kindness of the owners and functionality of the room, wonderful bathroom, very good and abundant breakfast at cheap price (11€ and we ate in 2), good shuttle service even if expensive (but taxis are even more so better the shuttle service)

Great location in Karterados, you can just walk to Fira easily, bus station is close (which is super cheap).
I was visiting Santorini alone, and they made my vacation super safe and comfortable!

Almost everything including the location. There are bakery, plenty of eateries, supermarket just right outside. Nicer n cheaper restaurant than in Fira/ Oia, the rstaurants is really good here. Basic room w balcony, clothes hanger, kettle fridge, I will go bk again if I come bk to santorini. 15mins flat ground walk to city center. There is a bus stop, all buses will stop here from Fira, except the other direction to Oia. Great location.
I loved everything about this place, great location just a ten min walk from the main town Fira, very good bus route from right outside hotel and can get to pretty much anywhere on island,,, 2r hour bakery a minute across the road which is great and actually super cheap, good coffees, good sarnies, pastries etc
Good location only 10 min walk into Fira. A pool which was great to cool off in . Room was OK. Bathroom cramped , but good Size balcony and good size room with fridge, air con and safe. Look it is a cheaper budget hotel, so don't build high expectations . But value for money good .
