EVERYTHING. Have in mind that if you stay at Doukas art, you won’t be staying in a regular hostel.. it’s BETTER! If you like to collect experiences while you are travelling well, staying here and meeting Giorgios is something you MUST! Be open to share some time with him. He treats you like a family member, the stories, the art, the antiques, the live music, the location of the place it’s all a 10/10 ✨🫶 I’ll be back!

The women's room was spacious and the bunk beds were comfortable and sturdy. There were curtains on each bed for light and privacy. Each bed had a reading light and outlets. There was AC in the room, and the bathroom/showers were clean and nearby

Kitchen had good facilities. The first bed I stayed in was very uncomfortable but I was able to move to a more comfortable bed the next night.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location in the city centre, with almost all attractions within a few minutes' walk. The airport is also close by with a cheap, quick taxi ride. The host (Chrysanthi) was very nice and helpful, no problems with late check in. In addition to the great facilities of the apartment, there was homemade wine, fruit, cakes, mineral water, etc. waiting for us. She was open to help us in every question, even ordering a taxi in the day of departure to the airport.
Clean, beds had curtains, good privacy, good aircon. Nice kitchenette, filter coffee machine, potable water. Fridge for guest use. Great location and easy to access the hostel. Good WiFi!
The hostel is in the most ideal location, just off the Main Street and right next to some ruins. Rena the host is an angel. She will book your taxis for you (cheaper than booking online) and makes everything a breeze. Cannot emphasise enough how accomodating she was. The place is clean and tidy with lots of outdoor chill space. You can get to the roof which is where we ate dinner both nights and it’s so peaceful.
Clean and tidy rooms and facilities, very helpful staff, great location and view from the roof top. Maybe the best hostel I've been to. Very honest price for what you get.
As a youth hostel it’s great, this is what you’re looking for as a backpacker. You meet different people and the price is great. Rooftop beds 100% recommend (at least in summer).
Great location for the port/Ferry and the centre of Heraklio. very helpful staff, pleasant rooftop bar, and rooms are fine for a short stay. Nothing special but fantastic value for money and ideal for a short/cheap stay.
Great value, old school hostel. Basic, simple, comfortable, friendly and great location. Everything a budget hostel traveller looks for in a place. Rena is super lovely and helpful host. Would definitely return again.
