Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This was my second time to this location and it is excellent. Close to a great beach with excellent snorkeling. Close to stores and towns, Very private and very safe. I would go here again.
Really friendly staff - they put a lot of heart in their hospitality and are really helpful.
Nice large main area (becomes a restaurant at night) with pool and jacuzzi, free parking and not far from Deshais and the Botanical Garden.
Breakfast is also reall nice - for me it was enough to eat.
Tip: Buy the tickets for the Botanical Garden at the reception desk - you safe money.
The chalet was absolutely divine. Tasteful decor and fully equipped for feeling like you are at home, except you’re not, you’re in a stunning location within walking distance of two wonderful beaches. It’s great to have a parking spot right outside and the outdoor area is so lovely. The place now has WiFi and a smart tv in case these are things you need. They were certainly a very pleasant surprise. Don’t hesitate to book. The area was so lovely and I felt safe at all times.
Breakfast was excellent. Owner Muriel was charming and could not have been warmer or more helpful. Very good facilities and lovely view. Great location for exploring.
The property was great, clean and very well maintained. We love the swimming pool which has a great filtering system and safety device. We enjoyed staying at the property. The landlord was also very helpful. Highly recommended to anyone interested. 👌
great location , close to the best beaches of Gwadloop if you like the authentic and less touristic beaches stretching along the Western coast of Basse Terre.
The two ladies running the hostel , Blandine and Pauline, are really open-minded and available for any questions and help.
On top, there is a bakery (patisserie) and shop as well as a pizza shgop right next to the hostel, which is great to get your breakfast or supply for the beach day just in front of the hostel !!
