Awesome location to start trekking around Tusheti. Amazing staff who helped me to find the best routes to walk as well as being super welcoming, available and friendly. Learned a lot about local life. Beds are super comfy after travelling and being also the village shop I could have everything I need. Food was also delicious. I fully recommend this place.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
It was an amazing experience staying at Nadiani hostel, we got late, but our amazing host Salome was there to guide us all the way. We were served sumptuous meal even at that hour. We really felt at home. Salome really rocks.
Nadiani hostel without any doubt is the best place to stay in Omalo.

The surroundings are absolutely stunning. Mirgvela has no other buildings, just the hostel. So you fee very disconnected (in a good way). The well kept garden has several lovely swings and chairs for looking down the valley or enjoying the wildflowers.
The food was delicious and big portions. We had breakfast and dinner before hiking on. Lots of wine with the meal and more food brought all the time.
Most amazing family to stay with. No request was too much. Safe and conscientious drive up to Tusheti and back. Rural, meadow location. Kind family run business. Clean and fresh food with wonderful hospitality. If we ever go to Tusheti again, 100% will be staying here.
The staff was extremely friendly and shared lots of tips and insights on getting around Tusheti. The guesthouse is in a great location in the upper Omalo and has an amazing view from the terrace near the house.
