Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, just a few minutes walk to beach and town.
The main bedroom you come in the back door and your in the bedroom. Because we needed 3 bedrooms, I had to sleep in the bunk bed(children's room)
Well equipped kitchen. Dishwasher, microwave... cleaning equipment all left there, even though we brought our own. Lovely modern bathrooms. Very deep bath.
Great location with nice staff. One of the cleaner hostels that I have stayed in. The shared facilities were clean and bright and the common kitchen/dining areas were excellent.
Return visit to this youth hostel. It's in a good location (although its a short but steep uphill climb) from the town center. Rooms are clean and have high ceilings. Staff are friendly. Well equipped kitchen and nice common areas.
Very clean hostel in a good location - couple of minutes from the high street and sea front, as well as a great base for exploring surrounding areas (Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove etc). Helpful staff, quick check in. It was nice and quiet at night, so able to sleep well, and felt very safe. Excellent value.
The hotel is in a great location just mins from the town centre, beach and railway station. Good mix of accommodation. The lodge offers modern accomodation in large rooms with large double beds. The main building is more traditional full of character with its long history. Well kept gardens and good, large safe parking close to the lodge . Staff very helpful. Good choice of cooked or continental breakfast in large sunny dining room.
