Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Honestly, staff and communication was amazing - can't fault it. I only stayed for one night and was out early in the morning, so I can't say much on the hostel as a whole. But my room was clean, a very good price, and the home itself is stunning, a very very nice hostel if you're backpacking or just need a cheap room to stay in. Id love to come back and stay longer in the future.
It was very clean and the beds were comfortable had a good sized kitchen, seating and dining area. Nice outdoor seating area if there in warmer weather. Great location didn’t need to use the car all weekend included one parking space and could park at Morrisons within 5min walk cheaply for the other car.
The pool is large so decent for proper swimming in & the spa area was good. No jacuzzi which was a shame though. The food was tasty, so although pricey (cheaper in the bar area, but not a very inviting place to eat in - nice for a drink though) if you're splashing out it was ok.
Great location to walk to river & town.
Great location for theatre.super that clean, friendly bar is open for a post show nightcap - most other hostelries seem to shut down. That'swhyweshifted from other hotels.
Great place, nice and clean with friendly owners that were very helpful. The room was nice with a large bed and coffee machine. We stayed in room 7, up 2 flights of stairs. Not an issue for us, but would be difficult for some. I'm tall at 6'3 and the shower was a normal cube size, but awkward for tall people.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Not the cheapest place, but a great location with a good room was worth the money. Would recommend this place.
I recently stayed as I work close by, the room was very cheap considering it is in a tourist hotspot. It was as expected for a youth hostel, the facilities were good and there is a restaurant on site where I was able to get some dinner after work. There was on site free parking and the breakfast was nice. The staff were really welcoming on arrival and throughout my stay.
