Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The bed, although quite soft was comfortable, the room was bright and airy with a nice bay window and the person on reception when we arrived was very nice and welcoming. Great location for local shops, town centre, and Scarborough Spa and seafront. Cheap and cheerful and generally good value for money, okay for an overnight stay.
Loved the decor and feel of the hotel. Very modern and unlike a lot of the tired scarborough hotels. BUT felt a little like a youth hostel- Self check in, no one to ask for info, restaurant advertised to be open from 4pm as concert night but staff weren't aware and said it was 5pm; a bit disjointed. Rooms were lovely compared to others I've stayed in and only 30 mins walk from the outdoor theatre.
Great location close to the beach and main town area. Very quirky room with original features, big comfy bed and good shower. There are other cheaper options but this is a bit different to an average hotel room. The host was also really accomodating by letting me check in early.
Great location and very warm and inviting property. Personalised welcome message was lovely and refreshments. Although we didn't meet the host, communication was spot on and having the keys to collect from a safe box was easy and convenient. Walking distance to some lovely pubs/eateries and close to the beach.
Me and my partner stayed a night here, and the great price met our expectations. Great location, clean and a friendly member of staff to greet us at the door. Would recommend for a good cheap stay in Scarborough!
Friendly staff, great location I just needed a bed for the night cheap budget room for one had everything I needed
