Very comfortable, quiet room. Nice places to sit and relax downstairs with a beer. Breakfast in morning was tasty and well organised. Location was superb for walking mam tor and nipping into town.

I didn't have breakfast the location was perfect I stayed in the bunkroom with 2 bunkbeds which was mixed sex which I didn't mind, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was cheap and just what I needed at the time, also may I add, the other people staying there were clean and respectful
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great hosts and great location. Angler’s Rest is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere and good food. Generally the apartment was basic and pretty comfortable. Cereal, coffee and teabags provided, which was appreciated
The accommodation was spacious, very clean and in a great location. Communication from the hosts was clear. Host hospitality was excellent, we would definitely return.
I love the location and the view from our room. The breakfast was brilliant and the staff was really helpful.
You can access all trails from the Hostel. Kids love that looks like a ghost hunt house 😁
The scenery is incredible
A great location for visiting the surrounding Peak District. The accommodation is excellent for 2 people (or small family) with a dog. The owners were really helpful.
Great location, as expected for a YHA in terms of facilities, cleanliness etc.
Beds ok comfy, showers clean. Some areas a bit tired but again, as expected for YHA. (And better than most hostels) Kitchen was a good size for self catering and had everything you needed. I didn’t have the breakfast but others did and said it was good.
Aussie man on reception was very friendly and gave us a great welcome.
