Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Absolutely LOVED this place! What a special wee gem of a place. From the moment Ross picked us up in the courtesy car to the moment Will checked us in and throughout, they couldn't have tried harder to make your stay feel special. From recommendations on the beers to general chat.
When walking the WHW you can feel like a sausage in a sausage factory with each place just cranking the handle, but not here.
And the bistro food was superb- such an unexpected surprise for budget accommodation.
great location, the property exceeded our expectation, it was immaculate and very well equiped. The BBQ and hot tub were all explained and really modern and easy to use. We had breakfast and it was a great range and choice, set up brilliantly for the day. Hosts were delightful and nothing too much trouble. We had three nights and lots in the area to do. Autumn colours were amazing. Very highly recommended. Great value for money.
We had motorcycle problems with a flat tyre we had to fix causing a big delay in arriving at the hostel. We arrived at 1am and the guy that waited for me and my twp friends was an absolute diamond.making us all a cup of tea/coffee at this time of the morning was brilliant....what a gem!
What a beautiful place....we were told it was originally a church.stain glass windows still there.
Thankyou so much!
Great location in the middle of nature with great trails around to explore the Loch Lomond area! We loved the atmosphere of the place, the restaurant serves delicious meals, one of the best meals we had on our entire trip in Scotland and the staff was super friendly!
The staff were very friendly and it felt like a proper hostel experience. The building is very interesting as it's a converted church, also great location with a beautiful short drive to Loch Lomond.
This is one of the best hostels I’ve been in. beautiful location, nice staff and great food. we stayed there two nights and made a nice walk along the lake.
