Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location, short walk into the village. Room was not too small and was nice and clean. Food was decent too.

The place had undergone a recent refurbishment of high quality hence maybe the price point being considerable more than the other YHA hostels we stayed at.

Don’t hesitate to book here. Don’t be put off by ‘hostel’ tag. It’s brilliant. Wonderful welcome even showing us the amenities. Fantastic scenery. Lovely comfy feel to to lounge areas to eat / cook. Have I mentioned it’s brilliant?

Very clean and cosy hostel in a great location. Welcoming and helpful staff. We arrived on a really wet afternoon after walking the Cleveland Way and were allowed in to the lounge to get warm and dry our extremely wet clothes in the drying room.

The Bedsheets and linen were the most comfortable we had on our trip. As this is „only“ a youth hostel the services provided are exceptionally good. The common kitchen area is well equipped and the breakfast options provided even fit a vegan lifestyle. There is a drying room which was needed as we walked through heavy rain :)
