Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The house is in a great location for accessing the harbour and town. It’s beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were super comfy and it’s well sound proofed between the levels.
Very warmly staffed. Shower was good, always a win. Friendly open communal areas that worked well. Perfectly located for hubby who was diving. Felt safe for our teenage boys growing independence.10pm noise curfew was followed by all, much appreciated . It Reminded hubby and I of a place we stayed in Australia, one world backpackersin Perth. Exactly what we had expected.
Amazing hostel in a great location, loved the vibe.
Kitchen area like a professional set up with more than everything you need.
Staff and manager very helpful and friendly.
Super clean and modern
Great location, close to shops and easy walk into the town and the sea front. The house was a good size, bedrooms were big and perfect for two families and three children, though you could squeeze more in if needed as there was also a pull out bed and single bed in with bunk beds. Open plan living and dining room offer great social space.
Palm Court is a budget price B&B and as such is great value for money. The building is a little tired (like many in Ilfracombe), but it is kept clean and fresh. Great location - pretty much central Ilfracombe. Great free parking; great breakfast. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and had all that we wanted.
Very cosy and clean. Great location. Good Wi-Fi, lots of hot water which was much needed after a chilly day on the beach! Very safe for our two grandchildren who loved feeding the piglets and chickens.
This old hotel is in a great location and the rooms are big but after saying this it is a 2 star hotel in need of everything it’s very tired old and stained especially the furniture. The average age the clientele must be in there 80’s so it’s cheap cheerful and serves the elderly probably very well.
Staff were very welcoming. Place was very clean and everything you would expect for a hostel was there. Lovely kitchen and lounge area. Great location.
