Staying at Trafford hall was an amazing experience very friendly and supportive staff always ready to help. Very affordable and very reasonable prices, best for students. Suggestions They should light up the garden at night that will look amazing.

The location is within the Georgian sector, which is stunning architecturally. The room was large and spacious with tall ceiling. Female toiletry facilities were on a separate floor to the mixed sex facilities below (one man overlooked the large FEMALES sign). I was unable to reach the accommodation until after midnight. With 24-hour security they kindly accommodated me after the cut off check-in time. Breakfast consisted of help-yourself fresh bread, toasted if you wanted, a whole range of spreads, breakfast cereal, dairy and plant-based milks in the fridge, fruit, etc.

It was one of the better hostels I've stayed in. Good staff, actually wanted to really help and engage and there was absolutely loads of space and social areas.

Clean and well maintained. Good location. Will definitely choose here again when I come back to Liverpool. ❤️
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Hostel is in a beautiful location. Quite rural. I had a car but I imagine it might be hard to access without one. SAT NAV directions were wrong but got to meet the lovely neighbourhood donkeys while figuring out where to go.
The food was excellent, both quality and price . we had an evening meal and breakfast .
Staff were all really lovely , helpful , friendly & professional.
Great location, easy to get to Chester .
Lovely to meet new people also staying there .
It was relatively cheap, had plenty of heating equipment so it never got cold. Hot water was always available too and the bottom bunk bed was big enough to accommodate a giant like me.
Great budget accommodation for someone looking for somewhere to crash after a night out. Nice comfortable and clean mattresses and bedding. Bunk beds are good quality and don't squeak and creak like in some places. Despite being sub zero temps outdoors, the room was nice and warm on arrival.
The food was fantastic and the room amazing the beds were so comfy linen, duvets and pillows were lovely. the staff were great very friendly and helpful. Our first time at a youth hostel and we may have been spoilt by this experience amazing.
It has an American children camp vibe, but not in a safe way, weird men shouted things at us, who were staying a few rooms down. I personally would not stay again, it’s cheap and if you literally only need a place to rest your head and get changed then It’s fine. Had an absolute nightmare getting a taxi to pick us up and take us into Chester town, and even more of a nightmare trying to get back. on the bright side, the bunk beds were actually really comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.
