Great location, beautiful building inside and out. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Very clean room and good value for money. Bed really comfy :) We wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Let us check in a bit early and kept our luggage in a safe place on our last day so we could explore for longer.

Staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location next to the canal. It's a short walk along the canal and up past the lock keepers arms and straight down a high street right into the city centre. We parked the car in the hotel car park which was safe and secure. Breakfast was buffet style and was very nice and plenty of everything.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for access to everything. Good to have use of a washer and dryer, and I loved having a fridge and being able to prepare meals in the evenings. Comfortable and spacious room. Overall I felt it was a safe and comfortable stay at a budget price. Definitely a good choice if you're staying more than a couple of days. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
