Great staff. Darren was wonderful and truly helped us out getting the bus so that we could get off to our hike without it being towed.

This was the nicest hostel I have stayed at. The view was fabulous. The rooms were excellent. They even provide breakfast and dinner for an extra fee and it is good. I recommend the steak pie or the Pesto Pasta for vegetarian choice.
The staff is lovely. Very helpful.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Lovely family owned business. Great location, close to snowdon, llanberis and Betws-y-Coed. Super comfy bed and marshmellow like pillows (my other half even ordered some for himself)! Cosily decorated. We enjoyed relaxing and playing games like snooker, table football and poker which were all available for free downstairs (formerly the bar/restarurant). There was even a cinema room. The treat of a free breakfast including cereal and toast was a real bonus.
We loved our stay at The Rocks! A beautiful hostel in a very strategic point for walks and hikes. Staff is super kind and welcoming, the room and common areas are extremely clean, there is a nice kitchen with all amenities. Room small but cosy, with nice views. Would stay again!
By far the best hostel for our group as we can book a 6 or 8 birth room. And the food options needed are different for some of our group and thats where the group kitchen is perfect
Lovely location, staff, setting and environment. Easily the best hostel I have stayed in.
