THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO SAY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE AFFORDABLE TO STAY, WITH SELF CATERING OPTIONS IN THE HEART OF CALLANDER. THE RIVER IS ALL OF A FEW MINUTES AWAY AS IS AN AWARD WINNING BAKERY/ CAFE AND MUCH MORE BESIDES. YOU CAN EVEN DO WHAT WE DID AND WALK DOOR TO DOOR FROM THE HOSTEL TO THE SUMMIT OF BENI LEDI - MAKING FOR AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC DAY.
Great location in the centre of the city. A beautiful and typically Scottish hotel. With an adjoining pub with delicious food. The breakfast is rich in choice and also very good.

Great location and the bar facilities front seating area and beer garden were excellent. Showed the sports which was essential for the golf. The bar team were first class, friendly and went that extra mile.
Excellent hostel in a great location, bike storage top notch. If you want you can cook your own food too. Pubs in town are pretty average but I would definitely use this hostel again
Nicely decorated rooms, extremely clean, attention to detail, the charm of the old building totally refreshed! Not what one expects of a Youth hostel.
