Basic accommodation. Not a bad place to base yourself for exploring the north coast or attending the Road Racing nearby. £70 for 2 for 1 night. About as cheap as you'll get in the area,it is very basic but it is a youth hostel! Staff at check in are nice.

The best hostel in the UK spacious with the shower room and toilet inside. Very clean and very welcoming sense of smell and very friendly receptionist. The garden spaces are beautiful and the hostel is very well kept, clean and quiet. Great location and I am so glad to stay there and will come back again.

I asked for a single sex dorm and was accommodated. There was always someone available if I had questions or concerns and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and thw rooms were clean, my best hostel experience to date! The location is also super convenient with most attractions within hiking distance and a bus stop right outside jf you were going further/didn't want to hike. The village has all amenities you might need too :)

It is a very large youth hostel. When you walk in it is very impressive at first glance. You walk through a covered walkway into a courtyard to find the entry. It has dark slate floors and lots of windows. A lounge with a large TV. There was no on-site parking but there was a free car park across the road not too far away.

Everything I expected from a youth hostel, very nice and helpful staff and overall good experience staying there. The size of the room for 4 people was more spacious than expected. Also nice to have the opportunity to cook for yourself in the (shared) kitchen
