Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
First room we were allocated was awful. No better than a youth hostel accommodation even though they knew my husband has mobility problems. However when I said we couldn't possibly stay in there we were found alternative accommodation . Nothing was toomuch trouble for the staff, they were amazing. Fantastic breakfast as usual.
Booked for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. Great location. Room large, shower excellent, nice touch with bottled water, ample coffee, milk, sugar and extra's. Weatherspoons cheap for meals, drinks etc. Staff friendly and polite and dont need to check out until 11am which is great as we had been out late the previous night.
Always good to stay here and switch off (no WiFi). Footpaths on the doorstep to Pen Y Fan, Taff Trail, Cambrian Way and a river to explore. Lovely friendly staff and clean rooms with all you'd expect in a Youth Hostel.
Certainly clean and as tidy as can be expected for the budget. Wife and I were on tour and happy to have parking for our motorcycles. Certainly fine for just guys who don't need any frills. Great location for a walk into town.
The owners were great and there lovely daughter, friendly welcome great communication, nothing was too much trouble
There was plenty of parking we had motorbikes and they were safe and secure in the car park, we would highly recommend the breakfast 5 star hotel in great location room very clean and comfortable all the facilities you need, The owners even gave us postcodes for places to visit which was a great help.
