Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The friendly host is quite flexible and responsive. The surroundings offer hiking options, excursions and the beautiful village of Vestmanna itself. This is a budget-friendly private guesthouse with a confortable shared area (living rooms and kitchen), quite recommendable.
Absolutely incredible. Beautiful and homely, lots of parking and a great view too. This hostel has absolutely everything you could want and more. A PlayStation, pool table, foosball, arcades, multiple lounges, and a spacious kitchen. The bed was very comfortable too and even the shower was great.
Highly recommended when you are staying in Vestmanna and even for long term stays if you do not mind driving a little more te get in and out of town. Just an ridiculous value for money in an otherwise expensive country!
Great hostel! I liked it so much and felt like home. Chris is such a kind and nice hostess. Make sure you stop there and hike the lovely area of Vestmanna!
I liked that it was cheap and not to far away from other locations. The personnel was kind and helpful. I also liked the close by activity’s that the personnel offered.
If you expect a budget place, it is what you are getting. Room is tiny and simple, but bed comfy. There is access to equipped kitchen to prepare some food. Bathroom is ok. Free parking opposite.
