Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I didn’t know what to expect at a hostel. I was thrilled with the spacious kitchen and dining area Where it was easy to meet people. The owner and the manager went over the top to help the guests. I was able to use a washer and dryer after a muddy hike. They helped me find us transportation and rides. I’m overjoyed with the service I received.

This hostel is really great value for money. It is in a great location, walking distance from a bus stop, groceries, and a few hiking spots. The washing machine and dryer were very convenient.

Very friendly and helpful host - Kristian. Very picturesque location of the hostel. It's probably the cheapest option when it comes to accomodation in the Faroes. Reasonably connected to the capital and the airport for being the outskirts of a village. You can walk from the hostel no problem to do the Lake above the sea hike or Witch's finger hike. Lovely and friendly cat.

Great atmosphere, the host is so friendly and the rooms & beds are comfortable. As the only cheap accommodation on the island it makes it possible for budget travellers to enjoy the Faroes. Also nice that booking is flexible if you plan to stay longer (you will)! Close to the airport and bus stop for travellers without a car, & with a car it's easy to get anywhere.

this is the cheapest option in Faroe, and it's an amazing hostel. Cat Felix, large living room and kitchen, very well-decorated with absolutely wonderful view from the window.

This is definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Beds are very comfortable, there’s a super cozy common area and well equipped kitchen. Also the view from there is great. The host is always ready to help and generally the atmosphere couldn't be any better.

Friendly staff. Very busy hostel. Lots of campers. Sometimes too busy to cook and find a seat for a meal. Great location. Amazing restaurant in the village. Walking distance to the hanging lake.

Very friendly host and very welcoming atmosphere. Perfect if you want to meet new people and have a special experience. If you want to rent a cheap car, you will have the best options here (though they are usually not in the same state as the ones at a traditional car renting firm). Enough space for multiple people to cook food. Nice, quiet and peaceful location. There‘s also a lovely cat.
