Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The staff are supportive and nice. If you ask for anything they will provide that. The hotel location is good but after evening I did not feel safe outside of the hotel. The price is cheap so don’t expect much.
Clean and safe hotel with very friendly staff at a great location. Very close to the airport, located in Bole - where most restaurants and such can be found. The hotel is right across from a well known shopping mall, making it very easy for any taxi driver to find it. The room was clean and properly cleaned each day. Staff were very friendly. There are security guards at the entrance of the building in which the hotel is located. You cannot enter the hotel without passing by the reception desk for additional security.
The breakfast was excellent. Delicious Ethiopian food served the Ethiopian way. The location was so ideal for me as i was attending meetings at the Skylight Hotel which is about 7 mins drive from Mad Vervet Backpackers Hostel
Very good value for money. Cheap but clean, functional and located in a very nice and safe neighbourhood. Hot water was working, staff members were very kind and professional. Shuttle from and to the airport at any time.
The Hotel staff was very helpful and the Manager was a great host . Very helpful ,informative and also fed me on a few occasions ,took me also for breakfast , where the food was more to my liking and to my taste buds . Thank Goodness .
He also Organised taxi to airport ,hassle free and cheap. I Enjoyed my 9days at the hotel and everything Safe and Secure.

This hotel is fantastic value for money. There are no frills but it was clean, safe and well kept. Everything worked and staff were really helpful. Free airport shuttle and really strong wifi. There is no food (I think!) at the hotel but there are lots of really excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. If you want a cheap but nice hotel then I would highly recommend this.
This is a really good hotel with a great location. The rooms definitely met my expectations- I would say even exceeded my expectations, relative to how much I paid for the place. The room was definitely my favorite part of the hotel. I loved that they provided iron boxes...Not used to that for budget hotels! The bed was comfortable Dare I say luxurious.
Second to the room is just how accessible it is from the airport...About an 8 minute drive and you are at Bole International Airport.
