Alarpe apertetxea is a peaceful place on a green hill with a beautiful view on the mountains. The staff was extraordinarily kind and available for all needs. The rooms are quiet and clean (just do not forget your anti mosquito spray in summer) and the breakfast was tasteful. I spent a great night over there during a bike solo trip. If other bikepackers are reading, just consider that the final climb can be quite steep 😜
Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Otardi is set in Asteasu. Guests can enjoy a variery of homemade breakfasts and dinners. Free private parking is available on site.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This is a very nice & clean hotel in a small quaint town far away from all the activity in the cities. The price was really cheap. There was no dinner & so we drove a short distance to an outdoor restaurant which we enjoyed
We bought coffee & a croissant before we left.
It's a good location for treks in Aralar. The rooms were modern and tidy. Cheap. Not much more good thinks I'm afraid.
