It was very central in Léon. The room was spacious and clean. I found the building very charming and they also offered a free breakfast for all guests which I wasn't aware of so it was a nice surprise to get some coffee and juice etc in the morning before heading out. If I visited Leon again I'd happily stay here

Amazing location just steps from the Cathedral. Check-in easy and fast. Room and bathrooms were clean despite being high-traffic. Small kitchen with seating area. These are pod-style bunks so they are private but can heat up in the night especially if there is not a window open.
I appreciated the proper linens and bedding after a long time on the Camino!

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

superb location, quiet, very clean and comfortable
Great location. Very organised and excellent communication around check in. We could safely store our bikes near by. Great shower. Best value for money or our trip so far
Extremely friendly and helpful hostel staff. The room was excellent with television, shower and a view of the city. It was also very cheap compared to the surrounding hostels.
What a lovely hostel. Juan was so welcoming and makes everyone feel included. Great to be in a room with only 2 bunk beds. Stocked up bathroom with all sorts if toiletries and a hair dryer. Great kitchen facilities. Lovely reading nook for some Journaling. What a wonderful experience.
It is a very building. Everything is set up nicely and cosy. I booked rather late because my plans got messed up a bit by a delayed flight. However though I could only come after 10pm they accommodated me in the nicest way. It is the best hostel I ever stayed in.
Hostel Alea was very comfortable and the locations was fantastic. Location was central to whatever your needs were. This particular hostel did not serve breakfast. There was a kitchen and grocery close by. Safety was not an issue.
Well thought out design, new, and clean. I've stayed in quite a few hostels on the Camino.
The dormitory bathroom showers are spacious with room to leave your gear secure and dry.
Doors soft close, so disturbances are minimised.
Clothes were washed and dried for 6 euros.
There was a space for bikes too.
Supermarkets not too far away.
Cupboard provided with key to secure belongings. Use one euro like a shopping trolley to get the key... You get your euro back each time you unlock.
Great place to stay. Beautiful building and very well converted into a hostel. The beds were really comfy and the dorm was laid out really well so it didn’t feel like you were sharing with 11 others. Best hostel I’ve stayed in.
So, first of all they are providing hostel service for low price and that really appreciable. This hostel is basically for backpackers but others can stay too. There are around 20 bunk beds so in total 40 beds available in a big room. Bathroom are clean and nice. Beds were ok, Curtains were there so that you can have some privacy.
