My experience at Hostal La Tortuga was excellent. The atmosphere is very welcoming and familiar, ideal for those looking to meet people and make endless plans. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with recommendations for exploring the area. In addition, the location is perfect, walking distance from the beach and with easy access to restaurants and shops. My favorite days at the hostel are Wednesdays, they have a barbecue with an enormous buffet, with many options for vegans.
Another of the best moments are the nightly chats in the chill out area, even with the volunteers. The hostel chooses lovely people to work with.
And of couurse, i saw the bests sunsets of all my lifee there🥰

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Loved warm pool and sun bed area .apartment was very different but had everything you needed except a toaster. Shop for food a short walk away and local cafe opens Monday to Friday from 7.00 to 19.00 with menu of the day very cheap.
I loved the apartment and the whole area. I felt safe, even when I was walking alone - Costa del Silencio is a really quiet town with some nice restaurants.
Hosts were very nice and friendly and helped me along the whole stay if I had any questions :)
I was working remotely from the apartment - internet connection was mostly very good, but on some days it crushed on e-meetings.

Only few step the ocean, great walking and hiking tour... Brilliant pubs and restaurant arount.....
In the kitchen had lot of brand new equipments.

Room very outdated, tv is from 1940’s and you need to pay for channels. WIFI extremely slow and after we left new guests will need to pay for it as well. Food not too bad but pure quality. Bar serves all included drinks which tastes like the cheapest you could get and served in paper cups. If you want the same beer in the glass you need to pay. No safe air conditioner as the one in the room looked dangerous and as well from last century. Also everywhere is dirty.
I got no complaints...best hostel on the Islands...

Great location with ocean view and sound 24h. Great comunication with owner 👍. Quiet and safe area with community pool. Shops, restaurants and public transportation very close. Pictures are real. No problems with parking places on the street.
