Acolá Hostel, hotel in Combarro

Acolá Hostel provides rooms in Pontevedra near Basilica Santa Maria and Teatro Principal.

I enjoyed Pontevedra massively, and this hostel has definitely played a role—it makes you forget you are staying at a hostel. The WC/shower are private and huge (and the water is hot!!!) - there were never too many people in the hostel for it to be a trouble or create lines. You get the privacy you need with a curtain attached to bunk beds. Not to forget about proper bed sheets, which is not too common on camino. You get fruit, cookies, tea and coffee in the kitchen. The space overall is top-notch, newly renovated and tastefully furnished, it feels cozy, so you don't have this usual feeling of wanting to run away from the facility.

Albergue GBC Hostel, hotel in Combarro

Set in Pontevedra and with Estación Maritima reachable within 29 km, Albergue GBC Hostel offers a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.

You can't do your own laundry, the staff will do it for you, but the best bit is that they will let you dry your shoes inside the dryer (other albergues didn't allow this) Located right opposite an Aldi which made life SO much easier for us Kitchen was incredibly well stocked with utensils and food leftover from previous pilgrims. There was plenty of space to sit, lots of place to prep and cook Large reception area which made the hostel feel very welcoming Plenty of space to hang up wet gear Mattress was very comfortable, and privacy curtains were much appreciated because so many people share one room

This is a pearl of a hostel. Beautiful garden, interior. Camborro is the nearest village and has the loveliest small houses, great restaurants and very friendly environment. The hostess of the hostel was very welcoming, service minded, warm and smiling 😊 Highly Recommended!

Great location , right on the Camino and very close to the supermarket and old city which is a popular tourist attraction. The hotel has a lift to facilitate tired pilgrims to get to higher floors, and rooms were clean and tidy. The Cafe should only open at 8:30am, but the host Luis was very kind to invite us in to enjoy a cup of wake up coffee for free.

One of the best places I’ve slept so far; the owners (Sr Luis and his wife Sra Maria Angeles) are amazing and helpful hosts. The hotel is very close to the Camino Variante Espiritual and restaurants, has a bar and breakfast (fee) in the morning. Rooms have everything you need for a break from hostels or albergues, super clean, I would recommend and stay again.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The view from the upper courtyard is incredible of the bay and the town of Cambarro. The venue is close to the tourist attractions of the town. I had a whole room with 8 bunk beds to myself. I appreciated the "female only" dorm option for safety and comfort reasons. Bathrooms were very clean and easy to use. Free towels was a plus.
