A beautiful building restoration, exceptional facilities and location

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Lovely host Paloma who cooked the most delicious meal. Beds and shower great (altho shower at hip level?!). Great location - a gorgeous little village atop a hill with stunning views.
I specifically booked here for the food as the pilgrims’ menu is vegetarian (vegan except for dessert) and I wasn’t disappointed. It was delicious! The beds were sturdier and more comfortable than your regular bunk beds too.
Warm, friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere in this homely hostel. Lovely to have the option of a communal meal. Beautiful decoration throughout and the terraced area allows for relaxation and mixing with other pilgrims. The hospitelero Juan is the perfect host.
An excellent hostel right on the Camino de Santiago
