didn't want to leave the hotel - beautifully decorated, with cozy inner courtyard with a fountain, fireplace in a library and spacious garden. Loved the fact that the hotel is a family business that has been passed from generation to generation. it has a sense of home in the best ways. the location is great - in historical centre. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We loved hostal Chasqui. Don Manuel is the sweetest man and doña Abigail was very helpful. We loved hanging out with other guests in the kitchen area and were lucky to meet some really nice people. The room was exactly what we needed and the location of the hostel was petefect. Very close to the central plaza, but in a very quiet street. We felt very safe there and even stayed longer than initially planned.

Exceptionally clean and bright hotel. The decor and artwork are very pretty. The upstairs has a jacuzzi and sauna area that we discovered on the last morning. We would love to return to try it. The staff were very nice and the location is great for walking to town.

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Really nice hostel a few minutes to "Plaza de Ponchos" and super area for safe parking. Room was clean, we had table, chairs ... good wifi. I can reccomend this hostel for all who wants spent in Otavalo 1 or 2 days.
Best deal in Otovalo. Spacious room with kitchen. Bicycles were stored safe in the apartment. Kitchen well enough equiped, we even were given a brand new kettle. All hostels in Otovalo were more expensive than this apartment.
Wonderful hostel! Owned and managed by a delightful indigenous family who took the time to tell us about local life. Quiet location a bit outside of town, but within easy walking distance, even with kids. Felt very safe and had secure parking. Nice views of the valley and volcanoes. We would definitely stay there again!
Amazing stay at The Traveler Hostel. The staff were all lovely and super helpful, with information on what to do in and around Otavalo. Incredible kitchen facilities for cooking dinners, and a nice space next to reception to chill and watch a bit of Netflix if you fancy. Great location, being a 10 min walk from the town and also close to Waterfalls and bus stops for trips out to the surrounding area.

everything. one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed. breakfast is good, bed is comfy, everything is so clean. the owners are so nice, giving so many info about places to visit and things to do, and help me arranging my tour.
Great location and staff are very helpful. Cheap laundry service. On the day of our departure a taxi was quickly arranged for us despite the chaos of the Saturday market. Overall a pleasant stay
