Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Aracely is amazing host! She was so welcomed and nice!
She offered us to take an tour to Cotopaxi and it was the best option believe me! If you doubt to take it or not, please don’t doubt)) just take it))
The place has great location to the nearest mountains and lake Quilotoa
We love this place so hope you will too!
Great location to start a hike in Cotopaxi. Nearly the closest proximity to the National park. Easy to find, fast check-in and one that works till late, good breakfast and adorable staff at site that was quite helpful finding the activities we need.
Beautiful hostel close to Cotopaxi. If you don't want to stay in the city of Latacunga and would rather visit Cotopaxi from a smaller pueblo along the road, this is a great option. The owner is super nice, and helped us book a guide to visit the volcano.
- really lovely decoration
- great location, close to the park, but feels really remote and special
- fab additions- ponchos etc in rooms
- really helpful at organising experiences and trips nearby
- prepared fish caught at the property for free
- the staff, Diego was very helpful in giving us advice on which tours to book
- the breakfast was good
- the location was good
- we felt safe inside the locked gate
- free water station to fill up our bottles
- the room was spacious
- the blankets were cozy enough to keep us warm all throughout the cold nights in Machachi
The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very clean. I really like the dining room area, kitchen, and showers have hot water. It feels more like an airbnb in the mountains than a hostel. It is very reasonably priced and is close to cotopaxi NP north entrance, along with La ruta de la cascadas. Its very quiet and peaceful at night.
This is a perfect place for a couple of quiet days in nature, and if you like to hike. Aracely is really lovely and accomodating. The hostel and room are simple but comfortable and very clean. It has a really cool roof terrace with a view over the mountains!
Great location, close to Cotopaxi. Rooms were spacious and staff friendly. Safe parking for your car
