Fabricio was easily the kindest, most hospitable host I have ever encountered. He immediately made me feel welcome, gave me rides in his car and always played great music in the common area! Also he held onto my luggage while I went up a mountain for a night.
The hostel is everything I look for - nice, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space, great value and very comfortable beds. I slept for 11 hours both nights I stayed there! It was the cheapest place available on booking.com and I can't imagine I'd have found anything better in town, or in Ecuador in general. My private room was actually cheaper than a dorm room in another hostel! Thoroughly recommend it!

This is a cool, friendly hostel right on the central square. The rooftop bar is one of the best places to grab a drink in town, so it was great to have it right upstairs! Most evenings there's an event or activity to join in with. Private rooms are simple but comfortable, it was cool to get one with a hammock. The real stars of the show here are the staff: there was nothing they couldn't help with from arriving to leaving. A special shout out to Mishell, who helped organise everything from bikes, rafting, hikes, drinks out, dinner suggestions and more!

What you see on-line is what you get. So no negative surprises, if anything, it is better than the on-line image. My dorm had plenty of windows, for air flow and a bright feeling, bed was comfortable.
It's a small walk down hill to the town centre, so quiet pleasant location. Only meters to the open market, to buy some cheap fruit or a meal.
It has a nice kitchen area for our use, with everything I needed.

Nice hostel near the centre of the Baňos. Nice and sufficient room, kitchen and terrace where we spent whole evening. We used the bike rental service and parking place. Only parking place is a little bit further - a few blocks. But in case you try to find nice, cheaper accomodation for 1 or 2 nights - this is really super place where to stay in Baňos.
We pretty much like everything. It was clean, super friendly and always helpful staff, well equipped kitchen, very nice rooms, great bathroom with real hot water, other guests were nice and chill too! Best budget hostel we stayed at in Ecuador 😍 owner is very kind, talkative if you want and helpful!
The staff were very friendly, and very helpful. There were unfortunately some troubles in Ecuador while I was here, and they were very helpful in making sure I would be able to get to the airport safely.
Additionally, the activities that can be booked from the hostel were a lot of fun, and the location of the hostel is ideal. The breakfasts sold at the hostel are very tasty and good value.

The owner is very helpful and very well informed person. She had an answer to each of our questions and booked for us a one day tour to Puyo. Pancakes for the breakfast were delicious! Hostel location is perfect. Hot water in the bathroom available all the time. Safe place.
After 7 months of travelling, this is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Has all the things a backpacker wished for. Cheap, great kitchen facilities, towel included, good wifi! People are also awesome. Owner of hostel also owns one of the tour companies in town, so the discounts here are crazy.
When I got sick they gave me a private room even though I was paying for a dorm. So nice
