The crew was amazing, and the bar is a lovely place to hang out at. Also, breakfast👌
Wifi was fast and reliable, too
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I liked the fact it was not a hotel but a short-stay property. I liked its colonial layout and the fact that the host was helpful. Overall, I liked that it was clean, safe, secure, and affordable for my budget!
Great Backpacker Hostel, very nice people working there who helped me out and informes me about things to do in Santa Domingo, meeting great people from all other the World, good breakfast
Island life hostel is at the end of Colonial zone and therefore perfectly located as you can walk safely through the city and reach everything in short time. It's close to china town for good food as well.
Chris the owner and the people working here r really friendly and helpful to find busses or whatever you need.
Best hostel in town. The hosts David and Elemis was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fresh still water is provided. What’s more, they have an excellent terrace that you can enjoy jacuzzi there. Highly recommended!
Nice hostel in a safe and calm area, close to the National Palace and the Zona Colonial. Clean rooms with aircon and flat tv. Very good wifi. Friendly staff.
A nice place to stay at the Malecon, walking distance to Zona Colonial, and just a few kilometers longer to Piantini. Safe and good neighborhood. Big apartment, not the cheapest, but the Ocean-view upgrade is recommended 👍
