Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
We are 3 big males 190cm+. And we had booked a room with a bunk bed that had dubble bed under. When we came in the reception they saw how big we are and upgraded our room for free to be kind, very nice people and they gave us clean bed sheets wrapped in unopened plastic
Simple hostel accommodation about 20 minutes walk from railway station. Only stayed one night while visiting Roskilde, as we changed trains there and left our bags in the station lockers. Lovely, friendly staff, decent breakfast at reasonable price. Basic room, en suite, with cramped bunk beds, but this is a hostel, not a hotel room. Linen / towel was included (even though confirmation email said it would be at an additional cost). Quiet location. We had a room for 4 just for the two of us.
The hostel is basic but very clean and offered all that we needed. We had contacted them in advance as we knew we would arrive late and the check-in arrangements were exactly as they said. The breakfast was nice and there were even gluten free breakfast rolls available without having pre requested them which was a bonus I wasn’t expecting.
Probably the cheapest beds you can find for a family of five in Denmark. For this of course the facilities are basic. Overall fine however and very kindly priced for a single night lay over on the road.
Great location, very nice staff, excellent breakfast!
