It was quiet, but that's due to it having been late season and there being very few guests there, not because the walls would have kept noise out. Being next to the harbour is picturesque.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Booked for an overnight stay on our way to Norway. It was located in a very quiet neighborhood with private parking, not far from the ferry in Hirtshals. The facilities were spacious and modern with a shared kitchen and seating area, which is to be expected from a hostel. We ordered the breakfast and bed linen/towel package in advance through the supplied website, and found the latter in our room when we arrived late in the evening.
The location is great, and the room is spacious and fairly light. The hostel is surrounded by greenery, and the outlook from the (well-equipped, big and very useful) kitchen is gorgeous, also in the winter when we were there. All the rooms surround a big, communal space/inner "courtyard" with plants and furniture, which would be very nice for bigger groups visiting. The breakfast was lovely, and we had a cosy Danish breakfast with "rundstykker" - and a table laid just for us.
Good place for before or after the ferry to Norway. Clean hostel with all you need. Breakfast was simple but good, in particular for the price. Breakfast is in the neighboring building. Great park for dog walking next door.
Everything was very functional. The rooms easy to access with a common kitchen an seating area for those who want to eg prepare their own breakfast.
Great hostel. Very smart ideas with the fastest check in and check out. A very comfortable and easy way to find it. Loved it and strongly recommend this place.
The hostel is very clean, the beds are really comfortabel and the breakfast in the morning is good.
