Convenient and beautiful location, delicious breakfast included in price. Staff was very accommodating, we arrived late and they made sure we would have dinner even though the kitchen had closed before we arrived
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The staff was kind and welcoming, they even let us check in several hours before their official check-in. Other than that the hostel has a great location if you want to go hiking and explore the beautiful landscape. They even offer free ferry tickets. We don’t have any complaints
Very friendly place, the way hostels used to be.
Beautiful location. It has a kitchen if you want to cook or there is a restaurant just a kilometer away.
Beautiful, independently run place in an amazing location. The facilities left nothing to be desired, exactly what you want from a hostel - good wifi, good kitchen facilities, clean beds and bathrooms, friendly staff - all in top shape. The dog is an added bonus!! And they get you a pass for the local ferry for the duration of your stay.
I've been to several hostels in my trails, and I can say with no doubt whatsoever that the Hinterland Hostel Is One of the best kept, clean and comfy I've ever seen.
The hostel was spotless clean! I stayed at the 10 bed dorm which was on the attic floor. It was very hot outside but there was a stand fan in the room which helped a lot.
The bed was soft and comfy with charging points behind the bed.
The location is great. It is 15 mins by foot to the station from where there are regular trains to Dresden. Also 15 mins to the ferry which takes you across the river. You get a guest card where the cost of the ferry is included.
The shared bathroom was also very clean.
Overall an amazing stay!
Nice place not far from places to eat. It has clean facilities and the beds were very comfortable. It was my first time at a hostel, and I would definitely go back.
Super placement and additional gratitude for the Free tickets for Fairy to the Castle for all the time we stayed in this Hostel and in the WC there were even free additional staff as shower gels and feminine hygiene products. It is 200% satisfaction from the time we lived there. Super friendly guys and super clean space.
The hostel was altogether great! Great facilities, quite luxury, everything super clean and quiet. You can get food there as well and chill in the beautiful garden. And we got tickets for the boat to the main attractions. We arrived early but could drop off our stuff.
