The Staff, Location, and Condition of the Hostel was fantastic. The fact they offer a bus ticket on reclaimable deposit is very nice. The location allows for tons of hikes and attractions nearby. The staff in particular is what made this experience so excellent.

I really loved this hostel! It is quite remote so it was quite a walk from the train station. It is in a nice little town close to quiet neighborhoods and supermarkets. The hostel was very quiet, clean, and in a great location to visit the Bavarian Alps.

Very friendly owner-couple running it that were kind and attentive. The modern decor and furnishings are clean and pleasant, and our double room was comfortable enough, although a bit tight on space. Good bike storage and convenient to the BO-KO bike route. The lounge room for hostel guests is nice. We had a good simple dinner there (fusion curry pasta was great) with some beer and wine, so convenient not to have to walk into town. Breakfast was excellent!

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
We stayed there for a night before hiking the Alpes. Great location to reach Kleinwalserthal. Super pool and sauna area. Didn't do much more. Good breakfast.
The experience staying at the hostel is good. It is in a good location with lots of hiking opportunities. I enjoyed my stay and meeting people with similar interests. The meals are healthy and the breakfast gives me a good start.
Great location, at a walkable distance from the Bahnhof. Located close to many trail heads. The place was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was also a bonus since we did not want to eat out all the days. All in all would totally recommend them for your stays at Oberstdorf.
Great location. Excellent breakfast. I had a small room to use, but it was clean. Towels were changed if necessary and cleaned. The staff is flexible with the vegetarian diet. Fresh berries were available on the last morning. Glorious! I recommend!
Clean, recently renovated rooms. The room and the bathroom were small but did not feel cramped. The staff was exceptionally nice. I would stay at this hostel again.
Rural setting. It's a youth hostel. It's vibrant with lots of active guests both young and old. Bike storage ok. Bed ok. English available. Individual shower cubicles are set up ok so your clothes don't get wet. I liked that I could do some work on my bike, while I waited for my laundry to finish. Washer and dryer available for €2.50 each including detergent. Manual operation so I was able to extend the drying a little. Two course dinner menu ( Gulasch and waffles tonight) was generous and welcomed. Brekky was good.
This is probably the best value I've ever gotten for my money, it's a beautiful hostel with easy check-in and great help from the staff. You have acces to a kitchen which you can use for cooking and eating. There are also free bikes which make travelling around Oberstdorf both a lot more fun and a lot easier.
Overall great service, great location (beautiful view) and some amazing facilities.
Overall I couldn't give it anything other than a 10/10
