Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We arrived in a room with four bunk beds, to me it gave the feeling of travelling with a boat on the Rhine. It was perfect for our trip with the "boys" (father and two sons). The breakfast was good, they even had "Dinkelbrötchen". The location of the hotel is a brief walk from the city center.
The young Afghani man responded finally to my request/demand for a business receipt. Price for the room was cheap.
Restaurant next door was excellent Italian...
Modern, close to train station, nice TV system with Chromecast, safe in the room, colorful floors, free drink if your room doesn't need to be cleaned, new gen of big cheap hotels.
