The gasthaus is good for shortstay in Jena, accomodation was good. It is not as expensive as other accomodations in the region. The shared kitchen was good and the reception was also very nice and spoke english.
This 24-hour hostel is located in central Weimar on the Goetheplatz Square. It offers quiet rooms, free Wi-Fi internet access, and a large rooftop terrace.

Good location, free coffee and tea and a small garden.
Friendly receptionists.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Staff was wonderful, friendly and serviceminded. The beds were excellent, as were dinner and breakfast. There were plenty to choose from Nice and safe parking area. Easy access from the motorway.
The hostel is located a few minutes walk from the city center. The check-in and check-out were easy, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I do recommend it!
It really exceeded my expectations. I hesitated to book at the beginning but the hostel was very clean and the staff was very polite. The location ist very central, you can be in town in 5 minutes.
Frankly, this was the poorest hotel experience in a long time. it wasn’t a four star hotel but felt more like a youth hostel. No restaurant or any other services. Room dusty from nit being used. Not even a mini bar to feed yourself. It wasn’t quite clear why the service level was so restricted. Staff said because of covid but next door hotels were running like normal… honestly if you cannot provide a certain service level you should close temporarily rather than luring people at a good price but with high risk of disappointment…
